Nice PBT Dog Keycap Set
At Cannonkeys, I designed the NicePBT Dog Keycap set, which includes adorable dog illustrations, packaging, and a desk mat. The keycaps capture the various dog behaviors, inviting users to recall or imagine their own experiences with pets. For the desk mat, I carefully arranged the illustrations along the edges to ensure no artwork was hidden by the keyboard, enhancing both functionality and visual appeal. This project blends playful design with professional attention to detail, creating a delightful typing experience for dog lovers.
SKETCHES
The initial concept focused on highlighting the playful and adorable features of dogs. Using Procreate and Pinterest for references, I explored different styles and created sketches that emphasized simplicity and charm. These initial drawings formed the foundation for the final designs.
KEYCAPS
The finalized keycap designs were vectorized in Adobe Illustrator, featuring clean linework and minimalistic illustrations. Each keycap celebrates a unique dog expression, appealing to dog lovers with a refined yet playful aesthetic.
DESKMAT
To complement the keycaps, the desk mat design incorporates vibrant colors and an array of dog illustrations along the edges. This layout ensures the keyboard at the center remains the focus while the illustrations add visual interest and storytelling around the mat.
