My first collaboration with another company resulted in this whimsical and charming keycap set, reflecting the magical world of the Moomin characters. Without prior knowledge of the Moomin universe, I conducted extensive research to understand its essence. I worked on two projects with Moomin: the Springtime Edition and the 80th Anniversary Edition.

Springtime Edition
In the Springtime Edition, I utilized illustrations provided by the Moomin company. This edition focused heavily on floral themes, inspired by the vibrant colors and natural elements in the Moomin animations. Instead of focusing solely on the cute characters, I wanted to capture the overall aesthetic and natural beauty of the Moomin world. The character illustrations were selected for their simplicity and lack of color, while the flowers were chosen for their vivid hues. I also incorporated colorful fonts to give the impression of blooming flowers on the keyboard.
80th Anniversary Edition
For the 80th Anniversary Edition, we updated the keyboard design to match the new illustrations and special color palette introduced for the celebration. This project was challenging as it involved using a color palette that I personally did not prefer. Despite this, I aimed to create a design that aligned with the anniversary slogan, "the door is always open," blending a celebratory atmosphere with warmth and welcoming vibes.
